I was pretty excited to get up this morning to kick start my day with a green smoothie.
I simply chose the veggies and fruits I like the most and combined them into a great tasting drink.
Luckily I was given a holiday today which allowed me to spend the time preparing this drink. Otherwise I would have just whisked together a protein shake with mega greens powder and some blueberries. So, that’ll be tomorrow’s breakfast treat. Which, is still delicious, but not as good as this one. Again the ginger makes it. It adds a wonderful kick and certainly wakes you up.
1 lemon, peeled
1 stalk of celery
1 cup of kale
1 inch of ginger (peeled)
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp Mega Greens powder
